Most basements have concrete floors.

Check with your local building suppys. They should have the names of subs to do various jobs.

Yes you can use steel. You would need to have the beams placed as part of your foundation before the home is delivered.The steel company you purchase the beams from can give you the correct sizes and number of suppports if needed.
