Connor Construction's Log Siding

Our most popular log siding is made of eastern white pine 3/4"x12" tongue-and-groove, milled with a 3-inch chink line to have the look of a 4"x12" dove-tail log home. The 3-inch chink line is smooth and the rest of the siding is rough-sawn. When the siding is stained, the smooth chink line will have a slightly lighter color for a more authentic look. The home will come unstained; the home owner/builder will have the option of choosing the preferred stain colors. When stained, eastern white pine has the same look as cedar but seems to actually hold up better against the elements here in the Southeast.
